Venkatesh

Daggubati Venkatesh, known professionally as Venkatesh and popularly referred to as "Victory Venkatesh", is an Indian actor who predominantly works in Telugu cinema alongside Hindi films. Born on December 13, 1960, in Karamchedu, Andhra Pradesh, he is the son of legendary film producer and D. Ramanaidu Studios founder D. Ramanaidu. He earned an MBA from the Monterey Institute of International Studies in California before entering the film industry.

He made his debut as a lead actor in K. Raghavendra Rao's *Kaliyuga Pandavulu* (1986), winning the Nandi Award for Best Male Debut. Over a career spanning more than four decades and over 70 feature films, he established himself as one of the most bankable and versatile leading stars of Indian cinema, celebrated equally for emotional family dramas, intense action thrillers, and iconic comic timing. One of the most decorated actors in Telugu cinema history, he has won a record five Nandi Awards for Best Actor (*Swarna Kamalam*, *Dharma Chakram*, *Preminchukundam Raa*, *Ganesh*, and *Kalisundam Raa*), along with two Nandi Special Jury Awards and six Filmfare Awards South.
