Zayn Marie Khan

Zayn Marie Khan is an Indian actress, theatre artist, and assistant director who works predominantly in Hindi films and digital streaming productions. Born on March 20, 1995, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, into the prominent Khan–Hussain film family, she is the daughter of acclaimed filmmaker Mansoor Khan and Tina Khan, the niece of superstar Aamir Khan, and cousin to actors Imran Khan and Junaid Khan. She completed her schooling in Mumbai and Tamil Nadu before graduating with a degree in Media from Stella Maris College, Chennai. Before stepping in front of the camera, she honed her craft in Mumbai’s independent theatre scene and gained foundational filmmaking experience behind the camera as an assistant director on Shakun Batra's *Kapoor & Sons* (2016) and Advait Chandan's *Secret Superstar* (2017).

Khan made her feature acting debut portraying Anushka Tiwari in Shirish Kunder’s Netflix psychological crime thriller *Mrs. Serial Killer* (2020) alongside Jacqueline Fernandez and Manoj Bajpayee, performing her own action sequences. She quickly transitioned into nuanced digital storytelling, headlining the acclaimed Netflix romantic anthology *Feels Like Ishq* (2021) as Shahana in Sachin Kundalkar’s episode "The Interview" opposite Neeraj Madhav, and co-starring as Meera Rao in the relationship drama series *Aryan & Meera* (2021) alongside Taaruk Raina. She gained widespread critical acclaim and recognition for her pivotal performance as Sarika "Shalu" Vartak in Vasan Bala’s celebrated neo-noir black comedy thriller *Monica, O My Darling* (2022) alongside Rajkummar Rao, Huma Qureshi, and Radhika Apte.

Continuing to establish herself across diverse genres, Khan appeared in the second season of Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti’s critically acclaimed Amazon Prime Video series *Made in Heaven* (2023) as Sarina Kapoor, an insecure bride confronting societal colorism. She followed this with a role as the rival corporate lawyer Zoya Ahmed in the third season of JioCinema’s legal drama series *Illegal - Justice, Out of Order* (2024). Her filmography extends to starring in the horror-comedy production *Pritam Pyaare* alongside Sanjay Mishra and portraying Sub-Inspector S. Janaki in Shaneil Deo's bilingual action thriller *Dacoit: A Love Story* (2026) alongside Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur.
