Anupama Parameswaran

Anupama Parameswaran is an Indian actress who works predominantly in Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil cinema alongside Kannada films. Born on February 18, 1996, in Irinjalakuda, Thrissur district, Kerala, to Parameswaran and Sunitha, she completed her schooling at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School and pursued Communicative English at CMS College, Kottayam, before discontinuing her degree to venture into acting. She made an iconic acting debut portraying Mary George in Alphonse Puthren's cult coming-of-age Malayalam blockbuster *Premam* (2015), which became a massive pan-South Indian phenomenon and earned her immediate widespread fame.

Following her sensational debut, she swiftly entered Telugu cinema with Trivikram Srinivas's romantic comedy *A Aa* (2016) and reprised her role in the Telugu remake of *Premam* (2016), winning the IIFA Utsavam Award for Best Supporting Actress. She made her Tamil debut opposite Dhanush in the political action thriller *Kodi* (2016) and established herself as a popular leading lady with consecutive commercial hits including *Sathamanam Bhavati* (2017), *Jomonte Suvisheshangal* (2017), *Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi* (2017), *Krishnarjuna Yudham* (2018), *Tej I Love You* (2018), *Hello Guru Prema Kosame* (2018), and the psychological crime thriller *Rakshasudu* (2019).
